Goodbye Summer…Hello Fall Festival @ the Park!

Clayton County International Park & Partners Host 1st Annual Boss of the Sauce BBQ Competition and Fall Festival for Metro-Atlanta Residents

Continuing a strong partnership, The Clayton County Department of Parks and Recreation, The Reach Them 2 Teach Them Foundation and the Clayton County Collaborative Authority have assembled a first-rate group of partners for the final event of their summer holiday event series on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2008.

Everything you love about Fall kicks-off on Labor Day at the park! From tailgating, a BBQ sauce competition, high school band performances, live music, back-to-school give-aways and even a fireworks show to close out the summer; you do not want to miss this exciting event. A great place for one last family get-away, the beach is located at 2300 Highway 138, S.E., Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 (I-75 South, exit 228), just 8 miles south of the Atlanta Airport.

The Beach at Clayton County International Park which is located just 8 miles south of the Atlanta Airport at 2300 Highway 138 S.E., Jonesboro, GA 30236.

Time   Park gates open at 8:00AM and the event programming starts at 10AM. All event attendees will enjoy a special holiday gate admission fee of only $10.
